One-On-One Film Festival

One-on-One Film Festival is an action that creates a space for social/political dialogue between local filmmakers and viewers of their films. The action consists of filmmakers walking or sitting in Peavey Plaza, each with a laptop that is strapped into a shoulder/waist harness. The laptop is worn facing outward and plays the filmmaker’s socially/politically themed film. The intention of this action is to use film as the catalyst for starting up discussions between filmmakers and visitors to the plaza during September 1st and 2nd.

One-on-One Film Festival is developed and organized by Marlina Gonzales and Jane Powers.

Participate

The One-on-One Film Festival is looking for local filmmakers who have produced films that explore social and political issues to participate in an action at Peavey Plaza. Check out the description of the action under Projects on this site.
