Exercise your freedom of speech without risk of reprisal from your job, friends, family, or the government. Participants can write down their announcements and drop them off at the mailbox attached to the Art Shanties on Peavey Plaza, submit them via the the form below or email to speech_surrogate AT hotmail DOT com. Liberty personified will read the announcements twice daily on September 1st and 2nd at 12 noon and 5 pm. Look for the woman in the flowing Greek robes and red Phrygian cap.
Announcements will not be censored but must also follow the limits on speech set by Supreme Court interpretations of the 1st Amendment to the Constitution of the United States.
