“More a state of mind than a place or plan, this collective effort by Twin Cities artists and organizations promises block parties, neighborhood frolics and activities galore by a motley crew of artist/activists, including a “Liberty Parade” Aug. 31 down Nicollet Mall to Loring Park.”

“Galleries and museums feature politically-themed shows during the RNC”

Nothing wrong with being a little scrappy.

If the Strib is calling the UnConvention, with its many high-profile institutional backers, a “motley crew of artists/activists,” how are they going to portray the protesters who show up at the RNC? Catholic nuns and picketing grannies will likely be “molotov-chucking anarchists.”
